Horse Carriage Tours

One of the most popular things to do during a visit to Charleston is a horse carriage tour around downtown, and the Historic districts! In April, the weather should be perfect for a little ride through history! Here are some of the most popular tour companies:

Old South Carriage Company

Palmetto Carriage Works

Ghost Tours

Yes, ghost tours are a big deal here, for many reasons. As one of the most haunted cities in America, if you're into ghosts, you don't want to miss a haunted tour!

Bull Dog Tours

Ghost City Tours

Charleston Harbor Cruises

Another fun way to explore is from the water. Whether it be history, sunsets, or dolphins you're chasing, Charleston Harbor Tours has you covered!

Places To See

Luckily, our wedding venue is one of the main points of interest for Charleston travelers, so we can check that one off the list! Here are some of the other places to visit while in town: Charleston City Market, Joe Riley Waterfront Park, Rainbow Row, Fort Sumpter National Monument, King Street, Sullivans Island, Isle of Palms, White Point Garden, and the many plantations.

If you love to shop, then you will love Charleston- Kings Street, Market Street, and Meeting Street are lined with cute shops, high end boutiques, and convenience stores.

Eat Your Heart Out

One of the reasons we moved to Charleston- the food & beverage of course! There will be no shortage of amazing places for you to dine during your stay- so we recommend getting out there! We love NICOs, Leon's, and Charleston Grille to name a few. Check out Google reviews and yelp to help you narrow down the endless choices! And please feel free to reach out to us (prior to the wedding weekend) for more recommendations!
